•responsible for startup of the office IT Systems such as but not limited IT infrastructure, Support, Documentation and Print, and continued support to the IT infrastructure of the project and the physical location of the NSDP.
•preparing documents, policies and technical specifications as required for both infrastructure upgrades, staff, MIS Development etc.
•Create floor plans, physical and logical network diagrams, bills of quantities, scheduling projections, inventory reports, site survey reports, and other documents as required;
•Implementation of required server and centralized applications such as Ms. Exchange, Active Directory, WSUS, Anti-virus, switches, routers, firewalls etc.
•Establish and maintain the web satellite internet networks in NSDP Kabul and Regional offices.
•Develop an IT procedure/manual, organize and conduct trainings pertaining to the use of internet and computer;
•Establish and maintain a reliable and useful communications system between NSDP Kabul office and the Regional offices,
• Serve as national technical expert dealing with a complex computing environment for the office.
• Install systems computer programs, assist and train staff in generation of reports, and in the development and use of the database.
• Ensure that computers and related equipment are installed for meetings and local training workshops and seminars.
• Provide consulting and troubleshooting services to staff.
• Analyze and repair routine hardware and software problems and monitor service contracts with service providers/vendors.
• Maintain the inventory of all computers and IT related equipment in all NSDP offices.
