Assist with all technical staff to ensure the consistent flow of information, regular communication systems, and support the technical aspects of the mission’s information technology.
Maintain and administration of LAN/WAN for providing constant office automation support to all districts.
Responsible for installing and up-to-date security software in each computer belonging to all DABS/KED that use this office IT and computer resource.
Assist the field staff in best to maintain and address DABS sub-office computer hardware and software troubleshooting problems, and provide an appropriate solution.
Responsible to keep clean and free of dust all IT devices and equipment used in sub and site offices and use of a blower and other cleaners are recommended.
Provide different solutions to the problems of computer hardware/software, LAN, email system, Internet and data backup, etc.
Responsible for all IT-related services on various aspects of IT, Email, LAN, Hardware and Software, basic troubleshooting, and providing training for DABS/KED office staff on IT-related systems.
Implementation of the network expansion plans and strategies by the installation of new cabling, ducting, wall mounts, faceplates, switches, routers, and other networking equipment and infrastructures as per the expansion/development plans or as/if required.
Installation, supervision, maintenance, and troubleshooting of current and new network equipment such as network cables, switches, hubs, routers, access points, servers, printers, users, computers.
