Most hires do not fail on skills — they stall on price, in a WhatsApp thread nobody can find later. Yagankar now handles that conversation where the application lives.

How it works

  1. A candidate applies with their proposed amount, as always.
  2. If your budget differs, don't reject them — send a counter-offer straight from the applicant card: your amount, plus a short note on why ("Our Q3 budget line for this is capped at $1,700").
  3. The candidate sees a Respond to offer prompt on their dashboard and in My applications, and can accept or decline in one tap.
  4. If they accept, the agreed amount replaces the original ask everywhere — checkout, workspace, records. No ambiguity about what was agreed.

Why in the open?

Because both sides deserve the same record. The negotiation state is visible to exactly the two people involved: the employer sees "awaiting response" on the applicant card, the candidate sees the offered amount next to their original ask. When payment time comes, the number is already settled — and it is the number both parties clicked.

Counter-offers work on every opportunity type, from fixed projects to monthly contracts. Try it from any applicant list on your opportunities.
