Creative & Social Media Growth Lead (Full-Time)
Full-time roleDescription
Help us build a brand that reaches millions of Afghans around the world.
Yaganchiz.com is an ambitious e-commerce venture making it easier for Afghans, both abroad and inside Afghanistan, to shop for and send products, essentials, and gifts to their loved ones.
We are looking for an exceptionally creative, ambitious, and highly driven individual to take ownership of our visual content, social media presence, and digital brand growth.
This is not just a graphic design or social media posting job. We want someone who thinks like an entrepreneur, takes initiative without waiting for instructions, experiments with bold ideas, and finds creative ways to get people talking about Yaganchiz.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow Yaganchiz's presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Create outstanding graphics, short videos, reels, campaigns, and engaging content.
- Develop and execute creative marketing ideas that attract attention, build trust, and drive customers.
- Understand Afghan audiences, both inside Afghanistan and across the diaspora, and create content that resonates with them.
- Identify trends, opportunities, collaborations, and unconventional ways to make Yaganchiz stand out.
- Take ownership of content planning, publishing, community engagement, and measuring results.
- Occasionally contribute your creative and marketing skills to other exciting products and ventures in our portfolio.
Who We're Looking For
We care more about your ambition, creativity, attitude, and ability to execute than your degrees or years of experience.
You should be someone who:
- Has exceptional ownership, initiative, and a strong bias toward action.
- Is highly creative, curious, resourceful, and willing to experiment.
- Has solid graphic design skills and understands what makes content successful on social media.
- Is comfortable creating and editing short-form video content.
- Learns quickly, solves problems independently, and gets things done.
- Thrives in a fast-moving, demanding startup environment.
- Understands Afghan culture and can communicate effectively with Afghan audiences.
- Dreams big but is equally willing to do the small, difficult things required to succeed.
What We Offer
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with an initial three-month probationary period.
We are an early-stage venture with a limited initial budget, so starting compensation will be modest and discussed transparently. As the business grows, we intend to review compensation based on business performance, responsibilities, and individual contributions.
More importantly, this is an opportunity to take real ownership, work directly with the founder, develop your skills, and help build something with the ambition to reach millions of people.
We don't want someone who simply follows a content calendar. We want someone who can help build the brand.
How to Apply
Share your portfolio or examples of your creative work, links to any social media accounts you've managed, and a short introduction.
Tell us one or two things you would do to make Yaganchiz more visible and exciting to Afghans worldwide.
We value originality, initiative, and demonstrated ability over polished profiles.
