Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our remote engineering team as an early technical hire. You will build features end-to-end — from database to user interface — help shape the architecture of our platform, and guide a small team of developers as we grow. This is a long-term, fully remote, independent contractor engagement with real ownership of your work and the stability of an ongoing role.

Job Requirements Duties & Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack, from database to UI.
2. Develop secure, scalable backend APIs and services in C# / .NET, following Clean Architecture principles (CQRS, dependency injection, domain-driven design).
3. Build responsive, high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript.
4. Apply engineering best practices: clean code, testing, and sustainable system design.
5. Work closely with the founder and team to plan, prioritize, and deliver features.
6. Lead and mentor a small team of developers — providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and helping the team deliver high-quality software.

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

1. 5+ years of professional full-stack development, building and deploying production applications.
2. Strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including Clean Architecture patterns (CQRS, dependency injection, DDD).
3. Strong experience with React and TypeScript, and a willingness to work across other technologies as needed.
4. Skilled with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to work efficiently — while reviewing, testing, and taking full responsibility for all code.
5. Strong written and spoken English for clear, proactive remote communication.
6. Able to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver reliably in a remote setup.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

1. Experience leading or mentoring a small development team.
2. Experience integrating AI features into products (LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, smart search, chat assistants, automation).
3. React Native / mobile development.
4. Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (AWS, Terraform, serverless).
5. SQL databases, payments integration (e.g., Stripe), and CI/CD.
6. Previous SaaS or startup experience.
